An easy read. Read it in an afternoon. Concise, gets the points across efficiently, yet allows history and biography to graphically “make its point” clear.
This is the e-book, which examines the single question that has divided Christendom for 2000 years. That question is embedded in the title, "Are There Biblical Grounds for Divorce?" We know the problems of Christian divorce – and the disastrous failures with the No Fault Divorce laws and other civil enactments over the centuries. But, ultimately, the problems surrounding divorce in our country stem from the many differing views of the Christian churches … and individual Christians … all attempting to sort out the problems of divorce.
The real problems revolve around whether Christ’s statements in the Gospels conflict with… or expound upon… Deuteronomy 24 (the passage the Pharisees and Sadducees keep questioning). They knew they had NOT solved the divorce issue in their teachings. So, of course, they pressed Christ for an answer so as to embarrass Him on the subject. His answers perfectly complement the passage. But, as His detractors knew, there is yet another issue, in Leviticus and Deuteronomy which they didn’t think He could solve.
Read about it here … and HOW Christ did answer their questions.
